The Moment That Everything Changed
For 50 years, I lived what I thought was a healthy life. But after moving to Texas, everything shifted. I found myself feeling worse than ever—stuck, overwhelmed, and unsure how to build the career and personal life I had always envisioned.
The breaking point came at 50, when a doctor told me I needed a hip replacement but was "too young" for the surgery. Shortly after, I sought answers for the persistent physical discomfort and the 30 pounds I had inexplicably gained in just five months, despite staying committed to my nutrition and exercise.
The response I received? "You do realize you're getting older... these things happen."
I was stunned. I refused to accept that chronic discomfort and depletion were simply the tax for aging. That refusal sparked a deep dive into a new way of living. I began to discover the incredible power my thoughts had over my physical body, and I realized that my mindset was just as important as my movement and my daily decisions.
Through a whole-body approach and bioenergetic assessments, I realized I wasn't just "getting older"—my body was communicating something deeper. It needed foundational support rather than a "fix" for a problem. The moment I stopped trying to silence my symptoms and started listening to what they were actually asking for was the moment everything changed for me.
